Before You Book

Couples usually book florists 6–9 months ahead. Ask:

• Have you worked at our venue, and do you know its rules for installations?
• Which flowers will be in season on our date, and which cost more?
• Can you work to our budget and suggest substitutions?
• Do you deliver, set up and break down? Is that included in the price?
• Can ceremony flowers be moved to the reception?

Tips for Booking Florists

• Bring photos of what you like and what you do not like.
• Seasonal and local flowers stretch a budget furthest.
• Greenery-heavy designs and fewer, larger arrangements can cut costs.
